Do you install grass I have already purchased?
For new installations and artificial grass repairs, we use only Saygrass-supplied grass. For supply-only purchases, visit Saygrass Direct.
What affects the installation price?
The lawn area, grass choice, access, waste removal, existing levels, edging and any drainage work all affect the quotation. A site survey lets us price the actual work.
Do you use sharp sand or sand infill?
Our standard residential base uses MOT Type 1 and grano dust rather than sharp sand. We do not use sand infill for our residential lawns. Sports systems are specified separately.
What warranties do you offer?
Our grass has a 10-year UV warranty and installation workmanship is covered for 24 months, subject to the terms in your quotation. These cover different things.
Will artificial grass need maintenance?
Yes. Remove leaves and debris, clear pet waste promptly and brush as needed. A professional clean can help refresh a lawn, but it cannot repair a failed base or reverse permanent fibre damage.
Do you maintain natural lawns or install natural turf?
No. Our lawn services cover artificial grass installation, cleaning, maintenance and repairs. We do not offer mowing, natural lawn maintenance or natural turf installation.
Do I need a survey for a maintenance quote?
No. Email photos, the approximate area and the address. We can then assess the condition and confirm the service and quotation.
Can you remove all pet smells?
Cleaning and optional deodorising may help, but odour removal cannot be guaranteed, particularly where an old sand base retains contamination.
Can I hire grass for a one-off event?
Yes. Tell us the dates, venue, area, surface and access details. Hire, fitting, edging and removal are confirmed in the event quotation.
Do you supply grass without installation?
Yes. Visit Saygrass Direct for supply-only purchases, and request samples if you want to compare the products first.
Do you cover my address?
Installation, cleaning, maintenance and repairs cover Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes, Northampton and the southern villages, Hertfordshire, Aylesbury and the Chilterns, Slough, and North and West London. Our areas page lists towns and nearby villages; send your postcode and project details when enquiring. Event grass hire is available across all London. Can I pay monthly for my installation?
Yes. Saygrass offers agreed interest-free plans over 3, 6 or 12 monthly payments, from £199 including VAT where the project price allows. Your first instalment is due one week before installation. See our monthly payment options for the full details and example.
