Is this a fixed quotation?
No. It is a starting estimate using your measurements, chosen grass and an area-based installation allowance. A site survey confirms preparation, access, drainage, materials and the final quotation.
Can I measure in feet?
Yes. Choose Length & width and select Feet. The calculator converts the dimensions into metres before working out the area and estimated price. The Total m² option always uses square metres.
Does the estimate include VAT?
Yes. The estimated installation total includes VAT at 20%. The individual grass supply prices in the selector are shown before VAT. A minimum estimated total of £1,320 including VAT applies.
What if I have an irregular garden?
Divide the lawn into simpler shapes and add their areas, then use Total m². Grass roll layout and waste can affect the amount needed, so the site survey confirms the order quantity.
Can this price a sports pitch or a roof terrace?
These projects need a separate specification. Contact Saygrass about sports, schools, commercial or raised surfaces so the system, base responsibilities and site requirements can be considered.
