Repair or replace?
Send photographs of the whole lawn and close-ups of the issue, the approximate area, your address and the age of the installation if known. We assess the surface, joins, edges and visible base condition before recommending a clean, repair or replacement.
A local repair may be suitable for an isolated problem. Widespread damage, a failed base or an unsuitable original installation may need more extensive work, confirmed after assessment.
Joins, edges and damaged grass
Open seams, loose edges and small damaged areas need a suitable repair method. We assess the cause rather than assuming that adhesive or brushing alone will fix it. Permanently melted or badly crushed fibres cannot be restored by cleaning.
For new installations and grass repairs we use Saygrass-supplied grass. A patch in an older lawn can remain visible because colour, pile and wear differ; we explain the likely finish before you agree.
Replacing an existing artificial lawn
The quotation identifies removal of old grass, the replacement product, edge details and any agreed waste disposal. Existing bases must be checked before reuse; re-levelling, drainage or rebuilding are included only where stated.
Compare our grass range and request samples before choosing your replacement.
Cleaning may be enough
If the main issue is debris, dirt or flattened pile, a maintenance visit may be a better first step. Read about artificial grass cleaning and maintenance and our troubleshooting guide.
For cleaning, photographs, size and address are enough for the initial enquiry. Replacement and base work may require a site survey.
