Weeds, moss and debris
Seeds can settle in debris on the lawn and around the perimeter. A membrane underneath does not stop all surface growth. Clear organic material regularly and ask for advice on treatments suitable for your grass.
Moss and dirt can make the surface look tired. A professional clean may help, but the cause and condition should be assessed before assuming that cleaning will resolve every issue.
Open joins, loose edges and uneven areas
Loose edges and open joins can need repair. If the underlying base has moved, the remedy may involve lifting the grass and working on the base rather than simply brushing the surface.
Send photographs and describe what has changed. We use only our own supplied grass for new installations and grass repairs; matching an aged lawn can be difficult and a patch may remain visible.
Flattened or burned fibres
Power brushing may improve the pile, but permanently crushed fibres may not recover. Melted or burned fibres cannot be restored by cleaning.
Keep hot items off the lawn and check for reflections from glazing or reflective surfaces if a burn appears. We can assess whether a local repair or wider replacement is appropriate.
Start with an assessment
For maintenance enquiries, email photos, approximate area and the address. For replacement or base work, a survey may be needed to confirm the scope and quotation.
