What these technologies do
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, scripts and pixels that store or access information on a device. The UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), as amended, govern these technologies. Data protection law also applies where personal information is used.
We explain optional features and ask for permission before enabling the external review widget. Essential access and security functions may operate without optional consent. Browsing, scrolling or following an ordinary internal link does not count as consent.
Your choices
You can Allow live reviews or Keep optional reviews off in the privacy controls. Both choices leave the main website and enquiry links available. With reviews off, no ReputationHub iframe is loaded by this site. You can still follow the separate Google reviews link if you choose.
The same control is available in every page footer. The panel does not open automatically; optional features stay off unless you enable them, or you already have an unexpired saved permission. You can close the panel without accepting anything. Withdrawing permission closes the review viewer, removes iframe connections and reloads the page to end the current embedded feature. It cannot erase information already received by a provider or directly delete cookies on another domain. Use your browser controls to clear those cookies if required.
Website videos
Our installation and promotional videos are served directly by our website hosting provider. They use browser video controls and load when you choose to play them. These players do not connect to YouTube or set a video preference cookie. Normal hosting connection logs still apply.
Analytics and advertising choices
Analytics and advertising are optional and separate from live reviews. Google Tag Manager loads only after an affirmative analytics and advertising choice on saygrass.co.uk or www.saygrass.co.uk. Google tags can measure pages and interactions, attribute advertising and personalise ads, using device identifiers, cookies and connection information. We use consent for this optional processing. The private preview does not load the container. Our sg_measurement_v1 local-storage preference expires after 180 days; an older review preference does not grant measurement consent. Change your choice through Privacy settings in the footer. Rejecting after allowing reloads the page to stop the container; it cannot retract information already sent or remove all provider cookies. Use browser controls to clear existing cookies. Provider retention and international processing depend on the published tags and account settings. See Google’s privacy policy.

Provider-controlled security and review storage can vary. This table describes the implemented services and our own storage; it is not a claim that all third-party cookie names have been independently measured.
Links to other services
Booking and sample links open link.saygrass.co.uk; supply-only purchases open direct.saygrass.co.uk. Google, Facebook and Instagram links also open their respective services. These destinations have their own storage and privacy controls. Allowing reviews here does not grant consent on those sites.
Event form fields are not saved in cookies or local storage by the Saygrass page code. When online submission is available, choosing Send event enquiry sends the entered details to Saygrass through its CRM workflow. The email alternative uses your own email app and requires you to send the prepared message.
Installation calculator
The cost calculator uses the values you enter on the current page. It does not set a calculator cookie, save entries in local storage or load an external pricing service. Changing its inputs does not enable optional reviews or marketing tracking.
Browser settings and policy changes
You can block or clear cookies and site data using your browser settings. Clearing our preference switches optional features off until you enable them again through Privacy settings. If local storage is unavailable, your choice works for the current page but may need to be repeated on another page. Device and browser choices are separate.
We review this policy and the consent controls when adding or changing embeds, forms, analytics, advertising, payments or other storage. Where a new purpose requires consent, it stays disabled until the relevant choice is offered. See our privacy policy for how personal information is used.
