A lawn planned around everyday use
A new lawn should suit how you use your garden. We discuss children, pets, furniture and foot traffic, as well as the look and feel of the grass. That helps us choose a suitable product and plan the installation around the space.
We supply and install our own grass. You can request samples before deciding, or compare our core grass range.
What goes into the installation
At your survey we check the existing surface, levels, access, drainage and the lawn outline. The quotation confirms preparation, removal of agreed materials, base works, edging and the grass being installed.
Our standard residential method uses a non-woven geotextile membrane, MOT Type 1 and grano dust. We secure the perimeter and use jointing tape and suitable adhesive where joins are needed. The final power brush helps the pile stand up.
The details depend on your site. Any extra excavation, retaining work, drainage or access requirements should be set out in the quotation rather than assumed.
Choose the finish, understand the quote
Pile height is only one part of choosing grass. Feel, colour and the way it responds to use matter too. We can discuss 30 mm Newport, 40 mm Carisbrooke and 50 mm Ventnor during the survey, subject to availability.
Tell us about existing paving, decking, planting and access covers so the artificial grass edges and levels can be planned around them. Base preparation, drainage and edging needed for the lawn are included where stated in your quotation.
After installation
We explain the care needed for your lawn and the warranty terms. Keep leaves and debris off the surface and clear pet waste promptly. For an existing lawn that needs refreshing, see our cleaning and maintenance service.
