Assess the existing deck first
Boards and their supporting structure must be suitable for reuse. We check visible condition, movement, gaps, levels and how the area drains. Covering a surface does not repair rot or structural defects.
Tell us about any known problems and send photographs. A raised or roof deck also needs the relevant structural, waterproofing and building requirements checked before a method can be agreed.
Plan the grass finish
Grass layout, pile direction, fixing, thresholds and edge details need to suit the deck and the proposed use. The agreed method should maintain drainage and access needed for cleaning or inspection.
The quotation covers artificial grass installation over an accepted existing surface. It is not an offer to construct a new timber deck.
See the courtyard transformation
The photographs below show the same Saygrass courtyard before and after artificial grass was installed over its existing decking. The deck, planting and seating remain part of the setting.
