Artificial grass installation in North Finchley
A free survey lets us measure the proposed lawn, check access and ground preparation, and discuss how you want to use the garden. Compare Saygrass samples for appearance and feel before choosing a pile height.
Limited access and shared boundaries can affect a London garden project as much as the grass area. At the survey, identify side passages, steps, parking or loading restrictions and any route through the building. We confirm handling and removal arrangements in the job scope.
Your written quotation sets out removal, base preparation, edging, joins, grass supply and fitting where included. Drainage and changes to existing levels need an individual assessment; a new surface alone will not solve every water problem.
How our installation service works ↗Cleaning an existing artificial lawn
For cleaning and maintenance in North Finchley, email your postcode, approximate lawn area and photographs to info@saygrass.co.uk. This helps us assess the work and provide the next step without booking an installation survey.
Tell us about pets, odours, moss, debris or flattened areas. Cleaning and brushing can improve a lawn's condition, but they do not repair a failed base, melted fibres or damaged seams. We will distinguish maintenance from repair work before agreeing the scope.
Cleaning and maintenance details ↗Repair or replace?
Loose edges, open joints and worn areas need different treatment. Send photographs and describe the problem so we can discuss an assessment. If the surface is uneven or holds water, the issue may also involve the construction beneath it.
Repairs and new installations use Saygrass-supplied grass. A patch on an older lawn can differ in colour or texture, so we discuss the likely finish before you decide between a repair and replacement.
Explore repairs and replacement ↗How much will your North Finchley lawn cost?
The size of the finished lawn is only part of the price. Roll layout, ground removal, the new base, edge details, carrying distances and waste handling also affect the quotation. Supply-only grass prices are different from a complete installation price.
Use our cost calculator for an initial estimate, then book your free survey for a site-specific quotation. We confirm the agreed work and total price before acceptance.
For balconies and roof terraces, building permissions, loading, waterproofing, drainage and fixing restrictions need checking before the installation method is agreed. We do not treat an elevated structure as an ordinary ground-level garden. Temporary event grass hire has its own London-wide service, beyond the installation area described on this page.

Questions about our North Finchley service
Do you cover my address in North Finchley?
North Finchley is on our service-area list. Give us the full postcode when booking so we can confirm access, the appropriate service and availability. This page describes coverage, not a local branch office.
Can you help with a garden used by dogs?
Yes, discuss your pets during the survey. Grass choice, the base and a realistic cleaning routine all matter. Artificial grass is not maintenance-free and can become hot in direct sunshine.
Can I book without measuring the garden?
Yes. Book a free installation survey online and we can measure and assess the space during the visit. For an existing-lawn cleaning enquiry, email photographs and an approximate area instead.
Do you work on schools or commercial sites?
We welcome artificial grass enquiries for schools and commercial spaces in our coverage area. Send the intended use and any specification so the complete system can be assessed. A residential lawn product alone does not establish sports or impact performance.
